
With only a few days until the Sidmouth Regatta Airshow on Friday 28 August 2026, Sidmouth Town Council have announced an updated Airshow programme featuring two additional aircraft from the Navy Wings collection.
The Regatta Airshow on Friday 28 August kicks off the weekend at 3pm.
3.00pm – Road Arrows (Two displays – at Bedford Lawn and then at Port Royal)
4.00pm – Sidmouth & Exmouth Lifeboat
– Sidmouth Lifeguards
4.50pm – Stampe Display Team
5.15pm – Navy Wings Formation – Swordfish, Chipmunk & Bulldog
– Chipmunk & Bulldog Tail-Chase
– Chipmunk Display
– Swordfish Display
6.00pm – AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers
6.20pm – Rich Goodwin Jet Pitts Muscle Plane
6.40pm – Royal Air Force Aerobatic Display Team, The Red Arrows
The updated lineup has been necessary due to the non-availability of the 82 year old Dakota from the Battle of Britain Flight.
Throughout Friday and Saturday, a Foodcourt showcasing some of the very best local food with a Bar run by Branscombe Brewery will be operating at the Ham. There will also be Red Arrows merchandise and a chance to ride in a Red Arrows Flight Simulator.
Saturday sees Sailing Races, Surf Lifesaving, a Treasure Hunt, return of the Three Legged Event, Tug of War, Fancy Dress Raft Race and Grand Fireworks Display.
Sunday continues with action focussed on a nautical theme with further Sailing Races, Gig Club Regatta and the Sea Shanty Singers.
Don’t forget this year’s Grand Draw features an impressive selection of prizes, including:
- VIP All-Day Tickets to the 2027 Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival
- Tickets to headline performances at the renowned Sidmouth Folk Festival 2027
- A huge variety of additional prizes generously donated by local businesses and event partners with other prizes to be announced.
Every draw ticket purchased will help support the future of the Sidmouth Regatta Airshow and ensure that this much-loved event can continue to bring world-class entertainment to the town. Draw tickets are available to purchase from Sidmouth Tourist Information Centre and Sidmouth Cricket Club.
Organisers are also continuing to appeal to local residents and supporters of the Sidmouth Regatta Airshow to help with fundraising collections, which play a vital role in helping stage the event and help ensure the event can continue. No previous experience is needed, and volunteers can offer as much or as little time as they are able to give.
