A unique opportunity is now available for any one group or business interested in leasing the Arches (East) to submit their expression of interest and proposals to the Council.
Councillors have recently expressed a desire to make more effective use the Arches (East) unit which currently houses the Jurassic Interpretation Centre. They are keen to hear from groups and/or individuals who could utilise the space for commercial and/or community-based activities. Councillors are particularly keen to receive proposals which could assist in helping to promote the town, reflecting the new Visit Sidmouth destination branding and the principles of the Sid Valley Neighbourhood Plan.
The Council invites interested parties to detail their interest by email by 5pm Friday 12 March 2021 to Christopher Holland, Town Clerk at: towncouncil@sidmouth.gov.uk
Chair of Council, Ian Barlow commented: “This is an exciting opportunity for a small business or group to use this prime site and space for themselves whilst benefiting the wider community. It is located right on the seafront next to a popular area of the beach with good access to public conveniences.”
The Council will work closely with Sidmouth Museum to continue to provide information on the Jurassic Coast.
