Laptops needed for Sidmouth College students

Sidmouth Town Council is supporting Sidmouth College’s drive for the donation of laptops to assist remote learning. The College is asking if any members of the community would be willing to donate laptops to students during these difficult times. These donations would be used by students who are remote learning and do not have access to a laptop or computer at home.

They ask that laptops are in working condition and are running Microsoft software (not Macbooks). The IT department will wipe those before they go out to students so personal information will be erased and the College’s own software installed. The College will not be able to return donations in the future due to licensing restrictions – they can only install software on machines owned by the College.

If members of the community would like to donate to the College there is a box in reception for these to be dropped off.

Any queries please contact Mrs Carr on jcarr@sidmouthcollege.devon.sch.uk.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated and Sidmouth College would like to thank the community for their continued support.

Sidmouth C.E Primary School would also be grateful for laptop donations for their children.

To arrange a donation please make contact by email to admin@sidmouth-primary.devon.sch.uk
