Super Science Saturday will again include demonstrations and ‘make and take’ activities for both adults and children in various venues in town.
The venues will include: All Saints Church and Hall, Kennaway House and a marquee outside it, the Methodist Church Hall, Leigh Browne Room, and the Parish Church.
Kennaway House will be the Festival Hub and an information gazebo with programmes and maps for the day at the entrance to the site.
The events for the day will include:
- Geology exhibitions and talks at All Saints Church and Hall
- Make and Take at the Methodist Church Hall
- Make and Take, Hands-on activities, all at Kennaway House Lawn
- Metamaterials, Optics and lights, Maths miracles, other science based activities inside Kennaway House itself
- Lots of hands-on activities at the Methodist Church main hall.
- Projectiles, Chromatography, Microscopes, Physics, Chemistry, Met office at the Parish Church
- … and more.
