Sidmouth Science Festival mark Ada Lovelace Day with three inspiring female speakers, each sharing their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for their field.
- Offshore Wind – The Celtic Sea Powerhouse by Kerry Hayes – Project Development Manager, Simply Blue Group at 3pm. This talk is in the regular monthly Café Scientifique slot which takes place on the second Tuesday of each month. A small charge of £2.50 includes a hot drink.
- The science of health screening by Dr Angela Elisabeth Raffle, Bristol University at 7pm. This event is free.
- Screening for prostate cancer by Professor Jenny Donovan, Professor of Social Medicine, University of Bristol at 8:15pm. This event is free.
