Beacons are being lit across the United Kingdom and Commonwealth to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Thursday 2 June at 9.45pm
Sidmouth Town Council Beacon – Esplanade (York Steps) will be lit by Chair of Sidmouth Town Council, Councillor Chris Lockyear
Sidmouth Town Council Beacon – Fire Beacon. This is the first Beacon to have been lit on the exact same spot since 1590. In association with the RICS and RSPB.
Sidbury Jubilee Beacon – Evergreen Hill, Sidbury to be lit by Lady Cave DL
