Sidmouth Play Festival Returns

The Paul Taylor Mills Summer Play Festival is in it’s 11th year, running a repertory theatre season with over 60 years of history in Sidmouth.

Sidmouth is proud to host one of the longest running repertory  theatre seasons in the country. In repertory theatre, a company of actors rehearse and perform back to back plays in house for a season, often rehearsing the following week’s play whilst performing each night. The intense process creates a buzz and brings a vibrant energy to the hosting venue. This year’s play season runs from 24th June to 21st September, hosting 12 plays over 12 weeks, with a break in the middle for Sidmouth Folk Week.
