Nominations are now open for the Sidmouth Citizen of the Year 2024 award. The annual award was established in 1985 and is a chance to give recognition to one of the town and surrounding Sid Vale communities’ unsung heroes. The current award is open to anyone who has made a significant contribution to the local community during 2024.
The nominee could be someone who works for a charity or community group, or an individual who acts on their own behalf. The Sidmouth Citizen of the Year 2023 was Angela Carney who was recognised for her years of dedication as the Salvation Army community development manager.
Your nomination, with the name of the person you are nominating and the reason why you are nominating them, should be sent to the Sidmouth Rotary Club coordinator, Robin Butler, by email to: svcoty2024@gmail.com no later than Saturday 1 February 2025.
