New beach matting has been laid on Sidmouth beach in time for the summer season.
The matting will enable wheelchair users and those with mobility aids to access and enjoy the beach.
It can be accessed at the western end of the Esplanade, by the Lifeguard Hut and giant deckchair.
EDDC and Sidmouth Town Council funded the project, as part of the town’s commitment to providing a welcome for all.
