A talk by David Thompson FSA, FBHI, FAHS.
David is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and was Curator of Horology at the British Museum for over 30 years.
Turret clocks in church towers, precision timekeepers at sea, lantern and longcase clocks as well as table clocks and watches. Over the centuries Devon has seen them all. David’s illustrated talk will look at the people and their work.
