Grant Funding Available – Don’t Miss Out!

Were you aware that Sidmouth Town Council offer Grants each year to Voluntary Organisations? The application form is now available to request funding. Last year the council gave out more than £21,000 in grants to local community organisations; the individual grants are usually around £1,000 or under.

The application form asks for details of what the money being requested will be used for, and how it will benefit the community. This could be by improving people’s wellbeing, preserving local heritage, supporting the local economy, protecting the environment, contributing towards cultural life or promoting social cohesion and inclusion.

Applicants need to include a copy of their last audited accounts or, for newly set up groups, a business plan.

Organisations that receive funding will be expected to acknowledge the council’s support on their website and promotional material; the council will provide a branding package with logos and suggested wording.

The deadline for your application will be Friday 9 December. Grant Applications for 2023/24 will then be considered at a Council Meeting in January 2023, and successful applicants notified after the meeting.

If your Voluntary Organisation would like to apply for financial assistance, please click on the link below which will take you to a copy of the Grant Application Form.

Completed forms should be emailed to finance@sidmouth.gov.uk or posted to:
