The 2021 Science Festival, which will take place from 8 October to 17 October 2021. The festival hope and are planning for it to take place ‘in person’ if the government guidelines allow but will also aim to live stream some of the events for those who wish to join from home. In addition to talks and walks, they also aim to provide as many hands-on activities as possible.
Super Science Saturday will be on Saturday 9th October at the beginning of the Festival with a Family Make and Take Day at the Norman Lockyer Observatory on Sunday 17th October. Various other events are being planned between these two dates. Themes for this year will include food, materials, robots and dinosaurs as well as the ususal astronomy and geology.
