Fungi hunt – with Michael Jordan

Sidmouth Cemetery has an interesting mycota, the population of fungi to you and me.  As part of the Science Festival’s Biodiversity Day, the Sid Valley Biodiversity Group has organised a survey of the fungi in Sidmouth Cemetery with the help of Michael Jordan from the Fungus Conservation Trust.

 Meet by the cemetery chapel. The Cemetery main entrance is in Temple Street by Spar, EX10 9BN, what3words dance.tanks.beats.  Go up the drive to the Chapel. There is limited parking on the main drive.  The car park entrance is a narrow driveway in Winslade Road, between 75 and 77, EX10 9EZ, what3words digit.angel.flies.

Please note, this a citizen science activity not a forage for edible fungi.
