Authors Alice Bell and Peter Stott talk about their new books and discuss our response to the climate change emergency.
Alice Bell – Our biggest experiment: A history of the climate crisis. In her book, Alice tells the story of Eunice Newton Foote, an American scientist and woman’s rights campaigner who first warned the world that an atmosphere heavy with carbon dioxide could send temperatures here on Earth soaring.
Peter Stott – Hot air: the inside story of the battle against climate change denial. In his book Peter provides a unique perspective from having been at the heart of the climate debate for over 25 years. He considers the threat of greenhouse gases as well and hopes of how the crisis can still be tackled.
