The Air Display will be the first of three days of Regatta events and will take place on the afternoon of Friday 22 August.
Regatta Weekend will continue to feature community events, supported by a network of local clubs, voluntary organisations and Sidmouth Town Council.
Sea based events include Sailing and Gig Races and the annual Surf Lifesaving competition. and a display from Sidmouth’s lifeboat, showcasing how they train to save lives at sea.
For landlubbers, there is a tug of war competition, a bar and entertainment at the Watersports Hub.
The fireworks display will be a music and pyrotechnics extravaganza delivered by award winning Sonic Fireworks, winners of the prestigious British Fireworks Championships – 9.15pm
One of the highlights of the weekend will be the return of the Raft Race, organised by the Rotary Club of Sidmouth with sponsorship from South West Water. Teams from across the Sid Valley take to the water in home-made craft and wearing fancy dress – 6pm
