Sidmouth & District Royal Naval Old Comrades Association in collaboration with the Royal British Legion will pay respects to the fallen, and celebrate liberation on the Saturday prior to a very significant week in the Conflict. In 2023, this will be Saturday 20th May.
Anyone not affiliated with ex-military associations, but with a desire to attend would be very welcome – and this includes any Argentinian people.
The programme will proceed along the following lines………though there may be an element of ’Sidmouth Time’ involved:
From 1130hrs – assemble at St Giles church-yard, or in the market-place for ‘marchers’
1200hrs – Contingent to march up Church St. – through the church-yard to the war memorial

1225hrs – Fall Out – adjourn to Sidmouth RFC for cheese & wine/beer & crisps……St Austell Brewery have kindly donated a barrel, and a tot will be issued from our rum tub (previous home HMS Saumarez).
Dress: No.1s with medals (and standards)……..otherwise, smart casual please.
The will be a small amount of seating for any aged/infirm attendees.
