Kents Cavern – Britain’s Oldest Home; Nick Powe, DA President, will reflect on two decades running Kents Cavern in Torquay, which is a renowned tourist attraction and also a geological Site of Special Scientific Interest. Kents Cavern is regarded as Britain’s Oldest Home and is now part of the landscape of the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark.
Nick will illustrate the connections between the Geopark and Kents Cavern’s extraordinary association with humankind, maybe the longest human link to any one place on the planet.
