Join the East Devon Countryside National Trust Ranger for a 4-mile guided walk, starting at the Donkey Sanctuary and passing through Weston Mouth beach. The circular route will take in special habitats rich in wildflowers such as grassland, woodland & undercliff.

A valuable opportunity to see and learn about wildflowers in east Devon including some rarities such as Purple Gromwell and Pyramidal Orchids.

Caring for wildflower meadows is a crucial part of our conservation work in east Devon.

The route will include some steep sections of coast path, including steps. Medium to challenging in difficulty.

  • Please meet in Donkey Sanctuary Overflow car park, Sidmouth. EX10 0NU. what3words:///regrowth.testy.wire
  • Wear sturdy footwear and suitable clothing for the weather. Bring a drink and a snack.
  • The route will include some steep sections of coast path, including steps and styles. Medium to challenging in difficulty.
  • Only suitable for adults.
