Bringing Electric Cars and Bikes to Sidmouth

Devon County Council are involved in the promotion of this survey about bringing Co Cars shared electric car club to Sidmouth. Local residents, businesses and community organisations are being asked for their views on the club which would give affordable access to electric cars for everyone whilst also supporting the shift to zero carbon transport. Co Cars is a not-for-profit cooperative social enterprise that already successfully runs a network of shared, low and zero-emission cars across the South West. The company also runs the Co Bikes electric bike sharing scheme.

The club would have electric cars available to book from as little as half an hour for an all-inclusive price from locations around the area. The e-bike scheme would have bikes that could be rented and returned also from locations across the area. Because they are electrically assisted, the e-bikes are a great alternative to the car for shorter trips and mean you can tackle hills without breaking a sweat!

Together, they would help tackle our county’s congestion, parking and pollution problems, whilst providing affordable access to zero emission vehicles for all. Interested? Then please complete this short survey https://bit.ly/CCSidmouth

This survey will assist planning and the results will be shared with the Rapid Charging Exeter project team. The survey and mailing list is being operated by Co Cars. Data collected is held in accordance with our privacy policy. The survey is running until Friday 21st May
