Georgie Hume & The Pity Party are a London based trio led by guitarist George Hume, who’s sound incorporates a blend of Jamaican Jazz, Cuban inspired rhythms and Surf Exotica creating a sound that’s been described as “Tropical Jazz”, stylistically sitting between the guitar voicings of Marc Ribot, Ry Cooder and Jim Campilongo.
