A late addition to the light switch on day is the Gliddon’s steam engine which will be providing trailer rides to children between approx. 2pm and 4pm ahead of the Christmas light switch on. The famous Gliddons engines have been regular visitors to the Christmas Light event over the years and will be bringing some extra sparkle to the start of festive events in the town.
